  2. Thanks, this has been a pretty random development. I was perusing some of your old entries about grip work, did you ever close the 3?

    1. Nah. I was chasing it for a while, and managed the 2.5, but I eventually noticed that my other lifts were starting to suffer with all the energy I was putting toward closing the 3. My hands got real beat up too. They still flare up if I start training the grippers too frequently, but these days I just grease the groove with them on occasion just to sort of maintain the grip strength.

      Anyone that CAN close that damn thing is a beast, haha. Jesse Marunde managed as a teenager. It's crazy.
