Entry #202
Worked the heavy bag after a set of push-ups to my max (didn't count,
but probably wasn't very high). The point of this was to maintain good
form under fatigue. I stopped after my technique started to suffer.
Only did this for the last round.
Still haven't visited the kickboxing place. Having no car is tough. Maybe I should just walk there.

Entry #201
Gym may have been closed for Thanksgiving, but I had an awesome all-day
training session today at my own place. Raised my heavy bag so I'd
always be hitting the hardest part on boxing drills. Shins are sore and
knuckles are bleeding. I did:
8 3-minute rounds of boxing drills. 60 seconds rest in between.
Food break, watched UFC videos.
5 3 minute rounds of muay thai drills. 60 seconds rest in between.
Food break, UFC videos.
Sprints to Los Gatos High School and back. Lost count of quantity.

Later that night, 3 sets of push-ups to failure. Didn't bother
counting. This day didn't really have any organized structure, so it
looks kind of random in writing.

Afterwards I stuffed my face and watched Dragonball Z. Some things never change.

Entry #200
Stocked up on $300 worth of food at Costco. Should last me a few days
haha. Was planning on checking out the kickboxing place today, but
shopping went well into the dojo's closed hours. I'll wait until
Friday, possibly the weekend. Not much to report on physical training
today.

Entry #199
Good gym day. Gained a pound. Benched 215 for 5 reps then 2 sets of 225
for 4 reps (needed help from spotter on the last repetition of 225).
Chugged an entire gallon of water, and finished off with a speed bag
session for a cool-down. That damn thing is so easy now. You can
literally master it in a few days
I was sitting down with my arms folded during gym, and when I stretched
my arms out my biceps had left imprints in my forearms from being
pressed into them. Yeah, that was the highlight of my day. Not really.

I made this for my signature in a messageboard when I was bored.

Entry #198
The scale says 195lbs. I think I look the same, but cool. Unsure of what weight I want to cut at. Gonna break 200 though.
Upgraded to 105lb dumbbells for chest press. Actually, today was
refreshing after taking it easy for a few days. Gym, striking practice,
UFC, studying -- this is what everyday needs to include. Some
skateboarding would be nice, too.
Found a cool little kickboxing place just 10 minutes from my house. And
by "little" I mean a place where UFC fighters Koscheck and Fitch
trained at. Definitely going to check it out this week.

Entry #197
Walked to GNC. Stocked up on three jugs of SERIOUS MASS weightgainer.
Gonna last me a while. My meal plan went horrible today, though. I need
a new alarm clock; waking up late messes me up.
I'll write more after gym tomorrow. Low on stuff to report today. Here's something to make up for it.

Entry #196
Woke up at 11:30. Hate sleeping in. Didn't eat enough today. I'll go to
GNC and pick up more weightgainer and casein to put the pounds back on.
Striking practice is going well, though. Working on keeping my hands up
during sidekicks. Recently noticed the tendency to drop my arms to
balance out when I kick.

Entry #195
Was out late doing bagwork. Legs haven't recovered from squats, despite
extensive stretching. Can barely walk down stairs (anyone who's been to
my house knows that this would be a problem). Meal plan hasn't been
consistent, but tomorrow's a new day. Hell, tonight's still a new
night. I should be eating, I'm out.

Entry #194
No gym = no weigh in. Meal plan was inconsistent today. Damn. Got some
good striking practice in to make up for it. Need to shove the calories
down, though. Focused on putting more of my body into my shots. Also
raised my bag up a few so I could make contact with the bottom portion,
which is denser. Hitting the weights again tomorrow.

Entry #193
Squats feel stronger than ever, despite a couple week
hiatus. Helped my sister out with the weights. Didn't affect training
intensity, though. If anything, it was harder because I didn't have an
opportunity to sit back down after a set and catch my breath since I
had to go over to her area and help her out. Water intake was below
par, though. Drank half a gallon rather than a full one.

It was a good day for UFC fans today. Ultimate Fighter finales were badass. That reminds me, weigh in is tomorrow.

Entry #192
Took a few days off from the weights. It sucked. I'm back, though. Lost
a pound; didn't seem to lose any strength, fortunately. Need to be more
careful about not slacking off on eating during my off-days (I must
have said this about fifty times now).

Forgot to take Friday off since the throwdown is tomorrow. Doesn't look
like I'm gonna be able to make it either way. There'll be other ones.

Entry #191
Tag for later. Will update with Halloween stuff.

UPDATE: I don't know why I made an entry, actually. Halloween was
nothing compared to the gorefest that was last year. Seriously, read
last year's entry. George and I went romping through the neighborhood,
fought in costume at the park, went to a party, scolded the children (who were older than us) about
drinking and smoking, punched through a wall (it was old, the guy said go ahead), and then threw away our
candy to eat nutritious and wholesome beef jerky.
This year: I went to the gym. Not bad on its own right, but I expect next year to be better.
