Squats feel stronger than ever, despite a couple week
hiatus. Helped my sister out with the weights. Didn't affect training
intensity, though. If anything, it was harder because I didn't have an
opportunity to sit back down after a set and catch my breath since I
had to go over to her area and help her out. Water intake was below
par, though. Drank half a gallon rather than a full one.
It was a good day for UFC fans today. Ultimate Fighter finales were badass. That reminds me, weigh in is tomorrow.
Hiatus' are good. I'd say every 12 weeks you should have an active recovery week where you basically go and do random stuff in the gym for maybe 30 minutes tops without huge intensity. It will do you good.
