Not pulling from the floor has definitely messed with me. This felt weird and unpracticed. Used a lot of back on the first few reps.

  2. Yeah, I was surprised. I've always heard the deadlift is one lift that doesn't need to be trained regularly. I don't know what's different about it for me.
