Entry #122 Deadlift day: dead-lifts at 225 lbs for 8 reps. Should have done more weight. First time going that high so next time it'll be much higher. Also tried out a wider grip on pulldowns. Flexibility stretches at home.
What's great about deadlift is that it's completely applicable to fighting. Some guy has you in a triangle, you deadlift him and slam him. And since you can rep it 8 times...that's 8 slams ^_~

ReplyDeleteI saw you do that in your video too haha. I never see anyone else in my place doing deadlifts, though, what about you? Or squats, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteDeadlifts aren't allowed in my weightroom, so I have to cheat and use a smith machine. Otherwise no. I see a few folks do squats.
